Qualifications

• Proven problem-solving and repair skills on heavy-duty equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses engine malfunctions with direction and minimal supervision.
• Performs thorough engine and related equipment repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Disassembles, inspects, selects parts, and reassembles to factory specs.
• Provides quality control inspections and completes service reports and parts requisitions.
• Uses computers and software to diagnose and reprogram engines; adheres to safety policies.
• Mentors lower level technicians and communicates progress to supervision.
