Job summary

LV Petroleum in Lake City, FL is seeking a Truck Service Adviser to deliver first-rate customer service for our trucking clients. You will write and process work orders and OTC transactions, secure purchase orders, and communicate quotes to customers to keep drivers on the road safely.

You'll be on the phone with drivers and companies, explaining issues and next steps, while maintaining shift reports and end-of-shift drops. The position is second shift (3pm–11pm) with training on the first shift.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Ability to work second shift 3pm-11pm; training will be on first shift.
• Must have a valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail and process (pay out) Work orders and OTC transactions; Secure purchase orders, prepare and communicate quotes to customers.
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift reports, Understand various payment types.
• Provide Customers with descriptions of any issues with their vehicle and help them understand what is needed to return them to the road safely.
• Regularly be on the phone speaking to drivers, companies, securing payments or advising drivers/companies with issues related to their vehicle.
