Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to provide first-rate service, write work orders, and manage OTC transactions. You will leverage product knowledge to suggest services and coordinate parts delivery across locations. A high school diploma, customer service background, and valid driver's license are required.

The role demands accuracy in paperwork, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a dynamic travel-center environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in cashiering and customer service preferred.
• Experience in repair or parts shop is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong suggestive selling skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions; prepare quotes to customers.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift reports; understand payment types.
• Maintain cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and customer restrooms.
• Ensure safety of customers and team members.
