Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor (TSA) to provide first-rate service and manage work orders, OTC transactions, and quotes. You will leverage product knowledge to support customers and coordinate parts sourcing and delivery.

The role emphasizes suggestive selling, professional demeanor, and balance of front-end duties with back-end support, including shift reporting and safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Previous cashier and customer service experience; experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Presents self in a professional manner to customers, management, and coworkers.
• Strong suggestive selling skills are essential.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions; Properly write up an ETA Work Order; Secure Purchase Orders, Prepare and communicate quotes to customer.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift report; Understand various payment types.
• Ensure the cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and customer restrooms.
• Maintain the safety of both our customers and team members.
