Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to deliver top-tier service to our customers. You will write work orders, process OTC transactions and quotes, and coordinate parts from vendors to ensure timely delivery.

A strong focus on suggestive selling and professional communication is essential. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, along with a valid driver’s license and prior cashier/customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in cashier or customer service; repair/parts shop preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions.
• Prepare and communicate quotes to customers.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Secure Purchase Orders and Proper ETA Work Orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of service counters and showroom.
• Understand various payment types and complete shift reports.
• Ensure the safety of customers and team members.
