Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to write and process work orders, handle OTC transactions and quotes, and coordinate parts sourcing for customers at our nationwide locations. You will be expected to uphold high service standards, assist with upselling, and ensure a safe, clean service area.

The role requires strong communication, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends at our TA Truck Service centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience in cashier or customer service preferred.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong suggestive selling skills and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions.
• Prepare and communicate quotes to customers.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness of service counters and showroom.
• Ensure safety of customers and team members.
• Handle payment types and route transactions.
• Manage end-of-shift drop and shift reports.
• Provide high-quality service to return travelers to the road.
