Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC is seeking a Truck Service Adviser (TSA) in Albert Lea, MN. You will handle first-rate customer service, write up work orders, and manage OTC transactions while guiding customers toward safe road return.

Responsibilities include processing quotes, securing purchase orders, and communicating ETA details. You’ll regularly speak with drivers and companies to resolve issues and secure payments in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or aptitude for helping customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and some holidays.
• Basic computer skills for POS and records.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail and process (pay out) Work orders and OTC transactions; Properly write up an ETA Work Order.
• Secure purchase orders, prepare and communicate quotes to customers.
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift reports; understand various payment types.
• Provide customers with descriptions of vehicle issues and needed repairs.
• Regularly communicate with drivers/companies by phone to secure payments and relay information.

As a Truck Service Adviser (TSA), you will provide first-rate customer service to customers about the products we sell and the services we provide. The TSA is primarily responsible for writing up work orders, suggestive selling, and handling over the counter sells (OTC) transactions while ensuring we are returning every traveler to the road safe and better than when they arrived.

In this role, you can expect to

• Work in a trusting and safe environment focused on provided excellent customer service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded
• Have extensive knowledge of the services we provide and the products we sell
• Have Strong selling skills to help generate revenue, Ability to influence in a professional manner while maintaining and displaying high integrity
• Write, detail and process (pay out) Work orders and OTC transactions; Properly write up an ETA Work Order. Secure purchase orders, prepare and communicate quotes to customers
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift reports, Understand various payment types
• Provide Customers with descriptions of any issues with their vehicle and help them understand what is needed to return them to the road safely
• Regularly be on the phone speaking to drivers, companies, securing payments or advising drivers/companies with issues related to their vehicle

Work Environment

While performing these duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will be exposed to fumes and particles. The noise level in the environment can be loud at times.

Requirements

Expected Physical Demands include regularly speaking to and listening to customers. Standing, Walking, Kneeling, Bending over and Crouching.

• This Position is for Second Shift 3pm-11pm, training will be done on First shift; after completing the training period the employee will then be moved to the Second shift Schedule
