Job summary

Transteck, Inc. is seeking a Truck Sales Representative to support the truck sales department and Account Managers of Freightliner and Western Star trucks. The role focuses on developing new business with fleets, small businesses, and owner-operators in a fast-paced B2B environment.

The ideal candidate is driven, organized and eager to learn the trucking industry. Prior heavy-duty truck experience is not required, but a valid driver's license and a willingness to obtain a CDL are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in professional B2B sales.
• Driven, outgoing, professional, and competitive.
• Entrepreneurial approach to time and resource management.
• Participation in trade shows and local associations to build industry knowledge and relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Willing to obtain a Commercial Driver's License.
• High School Diploma required.

Transteck has an immediate opening for a Truck Sales Representative to support the truck sales department.

The Truck Sales Representative position is directly responsible for supporting Account Managers of new Freightliner and Western Star medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks in a business-to-business sales environment working with fleets, small businesses, and owner/operators. Essential job functions include:

• Developing new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, phone calls, email, and in-person visits
• Maintaining accurate CRM records
• Learning and preparing truck specifications
• Preparing quotations and proposals
• Managing online inventory for new and used trucks
• Supporting Account Managers as needed with ordering and truck deliveries.

Previous heavy-duty truck experience is not required.
