Job summary

Transteck, Inc. in Pennsylvania seeks an Account Manager to drive new truck sales in the New Stanton and Altoona areas. The role focuses on selling Freightliner and Western Star medium and heavy-duty trucks to fleets, small businesses, and owner-operators in a B2B environment.

You will prospect, tailor truck specifications, prepare quotations, manage the full sales cycle from order to delivery, and support the sale of other dealership services. A fast-paced, results-driven culture awaits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in truck dealership or related industry.
• Entrepreneurial, independent approach to time and resource management.
• No micromanagement; CRM activity not required; CRM tools provided for organization.
• Strong industry knowledge and trade show participation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealer management/truck specification systems.
• Commercial Driver's License required or willingness to obtain.
• High School Diploma required; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

Transteck has an immediate opening for an Account Manager to handle new truck sales in the New Stanton and Altoona, PA areas.

The Account Manager position is directly responsible for selling new Freightliner and Western Star medium and heavy duty commercial trucks in a business-to-business sales environment to fleets, small business, and owner/operators. Essential job functions include: prospecting new business, creating truck specifications, understanding customer needs, preparing quotations, managing the entire sales cycle from truck order to delivery, and supporting sales of other dealership services. The pace is fast and demanding - all part of providing the best service possible to our customers.

Qualifications of an Account Manager at Transteck include:

• 5+ years of sales experience working in a Truck dealership or a related industry, such as truck leasing and rental, automotive, equipment, material handling, truck bodies, trailers, or other transportation related field
• Driven personality capable of succeeding in a highly competitive industry
• Extensive experience and documented success prospecting and closing new business
• NO micromanagement
