Responsibilities include prospecting for new business, maintaining CRM records, learning truck specifications, and preparing quotations, all while managing online inventory for new and used trucks and assisting with orders and deliveries.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a professional B2B sales environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to obtain a Commercial Driver's License.
• High School Diploma required.

Transteck has an immediate opening for aTruck Sales Representativeto support the truck sales department.

The Truck Sales Representative position is directly responsible for supporting Account Managers of new Freightliner and Western Star medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks in a business-to-business sales environment working with fleets, small businesses, and owner/operators. Essential job functions include:

• Developing new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, phone calls, email, and in-person visits
• Maintaining accurate CRM records
• Learning and preparing truck specifications
• Preparing quotations and proposals
• Managing online inventory for new and used trucks
• Supporting Account Managers as needed with ordering and truck deliveries.

The pace is fast and demanding - all part of providing the best service possible to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in commercial truck sales. Previous heavy-duty truck experience is not required. The ideal candidate is driven to succeed, outgoing, professional, competitive, organized, and eager to learn what the trucking industry has to offer.

Qualifications include:

• 1-2 years working in a professional Business to Business sales environment.
• Driven personality capable of succeeding in a highly competitive industry
• An entrepreneurial approach to time and resource management
• Participation in trade shows and local associations to build industry knowledge and relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Willing to obtain a Commercial Driver's License
• High School Diploma required
