Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Welder to repair and maintain vehicle floors, bodies, packing blades, rails, and fabrication. The role involves welding steel and aluminum with Mig/arc equipment, bending and cutting steel, and fabricating components for trucks.

You must follow safety policies, complete paperwork, and support team needs in daily operations. Minimum welding experience is required, and the position is union-affiliated with a starting wage of $31.28 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Cuts/welds repairs to vehicle floors, bodies, packing blades, rails, fabrication.
• Welds steel and aluminum components using Mig and arc welding equipment.
• Bends steel components using a break and shear.
• Cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch.
• Fabricates steel components on trucks.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Completes required paperwork.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
