Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Stainless Steel Tanker Maintenance Technician in Baytown, TX to perform repairs, inspections and welding on specialized equipment. The role requires diagnosing electrical and hydraulic issues and welding/fabrication to maximize safe operations.

The technician will ensure compliance with safety policies and complete documentation for each repair. Preferred candidates have equipment maintenance experience, welding skills, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret assignments in various forms.
• Knowledge of MIG/TIG welders and related tools.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on tankers.
• Repair electrical and hydraulic systems on equipment.
• Perform welding and fabrication with cutting, burning, and welding techniques.
• Complete paperwork and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Support lower-level technicians as needed.
