Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Truck Driver Student in St. Louis to train toward a CDL-A. You will attend training sessions, gain on-the-job experience as an LTL Driver, and perform inspections under supervision.

The role requires 21+ years old and 1 year of related experience, plus a valid license. Pay starts at $22.85 per hour, with full health, life and disability insurance, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with company match, and education assistance. This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1 year of related experience.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license for a minimum of 12 months.
• Attain a CDL-A permit by day 1 and endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• DOT/FMCSR safety compliance knowledge optional here.

Responsibilities

• Attend CDL-A training sessions.
• Gain on-the-job experience as an LTL Driver.
• Perform FMCSR vehicle inspections under supervision.
• Maintain records per FMCSR, DOT and company policies.
• Load/unload freight as needed with forklift.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures.
