Job summary

The Simplot Company in Michigan is seeking a full-time driver to support our farming customers. You will deliver and apply fertilizer and chemicals, communicate with customers, blend products, and help ensure quality and safety in daily operations.

This role requires a Class A CDL, a manual transmission license, teamwork, and 1+ years of related experience. You must be able to operate heavy equipment, lift up to 50 pounds, and use basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• CDL required and able to obtain/hold Class A license.
• Must be licensed to operate a manual transmission.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• 1+ years of related experience in agriculture or equipment operation preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, mobile apps).

Responsibilities

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Blending fertilizer and providing quality products to customers.
• Performing vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.
