Job description

Local Truck Driver and Operations Assistant working 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday. Delivering and picking up empty and loaded semi-trailers and delivering empty storage containers. When not driving, will help our Operations Manager with inventory control, licensing, onsite sales, prepping trailers for rental, help with online ads, and general help around the office. Medical Insurance for employee and available at cost for family members. Dental Insurance, other miscellaneous insurances are available at cost for employee and family members. Matching Simple IRA available after four months. 8 - 9 Major holidays off with pay, 1/2 day sick leave and 1/2 day vacation each month. Uniform provided. Small company where longevity is part of our history. Current CDL, clean driving record, and Physical Card required along with drug and alcohol screening. Responsibilities

Daily Truck Inspection, Delivering and Picking up loaded and empty semi-trailers, delivering storage containers, fork lift containers, clean out semi-trailers, inspection of semi-trailers, loading and unloading loading ramps for residential customer rentals, helping in various jobs around the yard. Helping in simple maintenance on trailers getting them ready for rental. Assistant to the Operations Manager, Inventory Control, Licensing, helping keep Ads current, assist with on-site sales.

Qualifications

Active CDL with clean driving record, current medical card, DOT drug and alcohol screening, good physical condition for driving responsibilities, able to find addresses with GPS or map searches.
