Job summary

Wesco is hiring a CDL Truck Driver to transport materials and manage delivery paperwork. The role requires a valid CDL license, a high school degree or equivalent, and at least two years of truck driving experience. Forklift experience is a plus and may be needed for warehouse tasks.

The driver will load and unload cargo, prepare delivery schedules, and obtain customer signatures. When not driving, duties may include warehouse tasks to support operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck with capacity up to three tons and usually six wheels to transport materials
• Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo

• Deliver materials to locations designated by the customer
• Obtain customer’s signature for proof of delivery and help to unload truck
• Perform the duties of Warehouse Associate when not driving the truck and making deliveries

A Day in The Life of a CDL Truck Driver

As a CDL Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. *Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Must have "CDL Classification/Certification". Requires applicable truck driver license for state.
