Job summary

Wesco in Wisconsin seeks a non-CDL Truck Driver to support our distribution operations. You will learn Wesco’s logistics practices while transporting cargo to specified destinations and handling required documentation.

The role requires a clean driving record, at least 2 years of truck driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training is provided, and the schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving record.
• 2 years of truck driving experience required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive instruction for delivery or pick up
• Verify contents of inventory loads with shipping papers
• Maintain records in accordance with regulations
• Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs etc.
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded

A Day in The Life of a Truck Driver

As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service.

* Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Requires applicable truck driver license for state.
