Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Union - Truck Driver CDL to deliver materials and perform basic preventive maintenance on company vehicles. Typical shift is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

You will prepare and provide delivery documentation and ensure timely service with a satisfactory driving record. Responsibilities include loading and unloading cargo, coordinating with dispatch, verifying contents, and keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid Truck Driver license.
• 2 years required of truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo.
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive delivery instructions.
• Verify contents of inventory loads with shipping papers.
• Maintain records in accordance with regulations.
• Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or replacing bulbs.
• Present bills/receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.

Job description

As a Union - Truck Driver CDL you will deliver material to customers utilizing company-owned or leased trucks. You will also be responsible for preventive maintenance.

A Day in The Life of a Truck Driver

As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Requires applicable truck driver license for state.
