Job summary

Wesco in Ohio is seeking a non-CDL Truck Driver to join our distribution team. You will transport cargo, prepare and verify delivery paperwork, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely service.

Requirements include a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, forklift experience, and at least 2 years of truck driving. This is a daytime, Monday–Friday shift with training opportunities and room for career growth.

Responsibilities

A Day in The Life of a Truck Driver

As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service.

Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Requires applicable truck driver license for state.

• Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive instruction for delivery or pick up
• Verify contents of inventory loads with shipping papers
• Maintain records in accordance with regulations
• Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs etc.,
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded
