Job summary

Wesco is hiring a non-CDL Truck Driver in Wisconsin to support distribution and supply chain operations. You’ll learn Wesco’s processes and work under a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

As a driver, you’ll load, secure, and deliver cargo, complete necessary paperwork, and coordinate with dispatch while maintaining a safe driving record. The role includes on-site duties and potential basic maintenance like tire changes.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record.
  • At least 2 years of truck driving experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo.
  • Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructions.
  • Verify contents of inventory loads with shipping papers.
  • Maintain records in accordance with regulations.
  • Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs.
  • Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.

A Day in The Life of a Truck Driver

As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. * Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Requires applicable truck driver license for state.

Education & Experience
  • Valid Driver’s License, with a satisfactory driving record required
  • 2 years of truck driving experience required
