Job summary

Carter Lumber in Georgia is hiring a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to multiple locations across the state. This full-time role offers a stable schedule, no-touch freight, and opportunities for bonuses based on performance.

You will load/unload with a forklift, secure loads, and provide friendly service at loading and delivery sites while adhering to DOT regulations. A valid Class A CDL is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and pre-employment screening.
• Ability to read and follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Good communication with loading and delivery sites.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to Carter Lumber locations across the state safely and on schedule.
• Provide friendly customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and tarp when required; no touch freight.
• Operate forklift for loading/unloading as needed.

As one of our Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record
• Familiarity with DOT regulations
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
