Carter Lumber Company is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to multiple locations across the state in a safe, timely manner. This full-time role features a salary-based pay with bonus potential and focuses on friendly, professional service at loading and delivery sites.

Load securing and occasional tarping by forklift are part of the job, with no touch freight. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL with a clean record, flatbed experience, DOT knowledge, and

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and tarps as needed for product delivery.
• No-touch freight; material loaded/unloaded with a forklift.

Description

As one of our Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record
• Flatbed experience
• Familiarity with DOT regulations
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
