Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to our locations across the state in a safe and timely manner.

You will provide friendly customer service at loading and delivery sites, secure loads, and handle forklift loading/unloading with no touch freight. This full-time role offers a stable schedule and growth opportunities within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience required.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Pass required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations within the state in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and occasionally tarp products; no touch freight.
• Materials will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Description

As one of our Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record
