Carter Lumber in South Carolina is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist. This full-time position involves transporting materials to multiple locations, no-touch freight, and forklift-assisted loading/unloading.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations in a safe and timely manner.

• Secure the load and occasionally tarping the product.
• No touch freight; materials loaded/unloaded with forklift.

Description

As one of our Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record
• Flatbed experience
• Familiarity with DOT regulations
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
