Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to locations across Alabama in a safe and timely manner. The role offers a full-time, salary-based compensation with potential bonuses and a focus on reliable, friendly customer service at loading and delivery sites.

You will handle load securement, tarp when required, and may operate a forklift for loading/unloading. A valid Class A CDL and clean driving record are required, along with familiarity with DOT

Description

As one of our Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record
• Flatbed experience
• Familiarity with DOT regulations
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
