Carter Lumber Company in Georgia is hiring a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to multiple locations safely and on time. This full-time role offers no-touch freight, load securement, occasional tarping, forklift-assisted loading/unloading, and opportunities for growth within a growing, family-owned business.

You will provide friendly customer service at loading and delivery sites and enjoy a stable schedule with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and have a clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience is required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Must successfully pass DOT pre-employment screening.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, and procedures.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to multiple locations safely and on time.
• Secure loads and tarp products when required.
• Assist with loading/unloading using a forklift; no touch freight.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Maintain safe driving practices and timely deliveries.
• Adhere to company policies and DOT regulations.

Description

As one of our Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record
• Flatbed experience
• Familiarity with DOT regulations
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
