Job summary

Carter Lumber seeks a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to various locations across the state, ensuring safety and timeliness. You will provide courteous service at loading/delivery sites, secure loads, and sometimes tarp products. Forklift loading/unloading is required where applicable.

This full-time position offers salary-based pay with potential bonuses and room for growth within a family-owned company with decades of history.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience required.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and pre-employment screening.
• Good communication and ability to follow written/oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations in a safe, timely manner.
• Provide friendly customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and tarp when required; no touch freight.
• Operate forklift for loading/unloading.

Description

As one of our Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record
• Flatbed experience
• Familiarity with DOT regulations
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
