Job summary

NFI Industries is hiring a driver for local and regional routes in the Cambridge, OH area. You will operate a late-model fleet with compliant safety procedures and modern technology while earning steady weekly pay and benefits from day one.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement and at least 1 year of Class A experience. Expect no-touch, drop & hook freight and opportunities for bonuses and reliable miles.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with HazMat endorsement.
• Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience.
• DOT regulations knowledge and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive locally or regionally for NFI with safety at the forefront.
• Perform routes, pickups, and deliveries per customer requirements.
• Report equipment issues, incidents, and defects promptly.
• Maintain logs and comply with DOT regulations.
• Safely enter/exit vehicle and manage cargo as required.

Start Your Engine: What It Takes to Drive With NFI

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
• HazMat endorsement required
• Minimum six (6) months of relevant
• Minimum oneyear of relevant Class A commercial driving experience
• Acceptable references from past employers
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Physically capable of performing all job duties, which include moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
• Ability to report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after the route.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
• Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements.
