Job summary

Tempur Sealy International in Brenham, TX is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to transport and deliver bedding products to customer locations within a defined geographic area. This role requires safe driving, a valid Class A CDL, and the ability to handle backhaul loads when needed.

Local routes keep you home each night, with regional trips possible several times per month. Excellent customer service experience is valued as you work closely with customers and follow FMCSA regulations.

Qualifications

• Possess a current and valid Class A CDL.
• Safe driving record.
• 12+ months of driving experience (Interstate).
• Experience with electronic onboarding recordkeeping systems.
• Experience in customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver company products to customer locations within a specific geographic area.
• Deliver and pick-up raw materials and other backhaul loads when applicable.
• Operate safely and strictly within all Company and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• For some regional driver positions, overnight trips may be required several times throughout the work week during the month; local routes keep you home nightly.

What You’ll Do:

• Transport and deliver company products to customer locations within a specific geographic area.
• Deliver and pick-up raw materials and other backhaul loads when applicable.
• Operate safely and strictly within all Company and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• For some regional driver positions, overnight trips may be required several times throughout the work week during the month. Drivers on local routes will be home every night.

What You’ll Need:

• Possess a current and valid Class A CDL
• Safe driving record
• 12+ months of driving experience (defined as Interstate operation of a Class A combination vehicle/tractor trailer), preferably within the previous three years.
• Experience with electronic, on-boarding recordkeeping systems
• Experience working in customer facing roles`
