Paylocity in Baltimore, MD is seeking a professional driver to deliver petroleum products to company sites and customers, ensuring safe, compliant operations. You will load/unload, inspect vehicles, and coordinate with dispatchers on a daily basis for efficient service.

This role offers home daily routes, weekend/extended hours as needed, and opportunities to earn bonuses based on safety and performance. Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with acceptable DOT/FMCSA record.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• TWIC required or obtainable within 30 days after hire.
• Prior fuel/petroleum transport experience preferred.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug testing.
• Subject to random drug and alcohol testing per DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Meet DOT/FMCSA qualification standards including Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Weekend and extended hours may be required.
• Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance and customer service.

Description

This position is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of their vehicle. Drivers are responsible for delivering petroleum products to company owned sites and customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks with petroleum products adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.


• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.


• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy.


• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items on a daily basis.


• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.


• Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers on a daily basis.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay range: $22 to $27 per hour (based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location).


• Overtime opportunities available in accordance with applicable laws.


• Quarterly safety bonuses (eligible after 120 days of employment).


• Monthly performance bonus based on gallons delivered (eligible after 120 days of employment).
