Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Truck Driver (non-CDL) in Duluth, MN, with a Mon–Fri daytime shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.). You will transport cargo, prepare documentation for delivery or pickup, and support the dispatcher with timely service.

Required: valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and at least 2 years of truck driving experience; forklift experience is noted. Wesco offers training, educational assistance, generous PTO, insurance options and a 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive instruction for delivery or pick up
• Verify contents of inventory loads with shipping papers
• Maintain records in accordance with regulations
• Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs etc.
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded

A Day in The Life of a Truck Driver

As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. * Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Requires applicable truck driver license for state.

• Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive instruction for delivery or pick up
