Job description

Job Overview

Under direction of the Construction Manager, provide support to soil excavation activities including loading trucks and transporting soil for stockpile and disposal, and transporting backfill for site restoration and revegetation. May be required to assist in general labor duties. Truck drivers will be paid federal prevailing wage.

Project description: Residential remedial excavation and backfill of 40 properties with metal‑contaminated soils.

Wage: Base company wage $35.00 per hour, but this project will pay the federal prevailing wage.

Key Responsibilities

• Use of dump trucks (12‑15 yd) and water trucks (2 k).
• Operate trucks safely in residential communities.
• Prepare for labor tasks.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Maintain safety and professionalism while working in residential communities.

Basic Qualifications

• Civil construction and/or environmental work experience.
• Reside within daily commute of Jackson, CA.
• No felony convictions.
• Clean driving record with a valid license.
• Reliable transportation and cell phone.
• Pass drug screen and physical exam.
• OSHA HAZWOPER certification (preferred).
• Valid CDL with tank endorsement.

Work Schedule

5 days per week, 10 hours per day.
