Job summary

APTIM is seeking a CDL Truck Driver internship in Jackson, CA under the SkillBridge program. You will support soil excavation activities, load trucks, and transport soil for stockpile and site restoration, with federal prevailing wage paid for the work performed.

The role requires active-duty U.S. military members and provides exposure to environmental and civil construction tasks on residential remediation projects, with full benefits and a defined wage after internship.

Qualifications

• Civil Construction and/or environmental work experience.
• Must live within daily commute of Jackson, CA.
• No Felonies.
• Clean driving record with valid license.
• Dependable transportation and cell phone.
• Able to pass drug screen and OSHA HAZWOPER.

Responsibilities

• Use of Dump trucks (12-15 yd) and Water Trucks (2k).
• Operate trucks in safe manner in residential communities.
• Will perform general labor tasks.
• Ability to work in team environment in safe and productive manner.
• Be safe and professional while working in residential communities.
