Job summary

A-1 Landscaping and Construction, Inc. is seeking a motivated Civil Construction Truck Driver to support large-scale infrastructure projects in Washington. You will operate tractors, dump trucks, lowboys, and side dumps, ensuring on-time deliveries and safe handling of materials.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Proven experience driving commercial trucks (tractor-trailers, side dumps, lowboys, dump trucks, flatbeds) in construction.
• Skilled in manual transmission operation with strong safety understanding.
• 3+ years of proven civil construction truck driving experience.
• Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Experience with forklift operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, side dumps, lowboys, dump trucks, and flatbeds to transport materials to and from job sites.
• Load and unload construction materials with precision while maintaining safety standards.
• Drive routes across multiple locations while following schedules and safety protocols.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts for optimal operation and safety.
• Assist with forklift operation when necessary for material handling on-site or at loading zones.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, routes, fuel use, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Support project teams by transporting heavy equipment or materials as needed.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Comply with truck driving rules, company policies, and procedures.

Duties

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)required
• Proven experience driving commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers,side dumps, lowboys, dump trucks, or flatbeds in construction or similar environments
• Skilled in manual transmission operation with a strong understandingof truck handling and safety procedures
• 3 + years of proven experience in driving truck for a CivilConstruction company
• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while maintainingsafety standards
• Familiarity with route driving logistics across urban or ruralconstruction sites
• Experience with forklift operation is a plus for handling materialson-site
• Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and bestpractices for professional truck driving
