Job summary

Morgan Truck Body in Plainfield, CT is seeking a Welder for 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) with potential overtime. Starting pay is $27.00 per hour.

You will weld aluminum, steel, and galvanneal components, interpret blueprints, and operate/setup welding equipment with precision to build durable truck bodies. Minimum 6 months welding experience or welding school training is expected, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Weld test proficiency required to demonstrate skill and quality.
• Proficient with mild steel and galvanneal materials.
• Basic math, measurement, and computer skills for precision.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for welding.

Responsibilities
