Morgan Truck Body in Janesville, WI is hiring a Welder for the 1st shift with a $4,000 bonus. You will weld aluminum, steel, and galvanneal components, interpret blueprints, and operate welding equipment to build durable truck bodies.

Qualifications

• Must pass weld test to demonstrate skill and quality
• Proficient in welding mild steel and galvanneal materials
• Minimum of 6 months welding experience or completion of welding school training
• Solid grasp of basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills essential for precision
• Basic experience with hand tools to support welding tasks
• Able to understand and apply measurements on the job
• Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints for welding applications
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• Age must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to weld metals with precision
• Operate heavy equipment like saws to prepare materials
• Set up machines and perform preventative maintenance
• Inspect each weld for defects to ensure quality
• Learn and apply multiple welding methods and earn certifications
• Follow safety and quality checks to guarantee results
• Adhere to all safety policies on the job
