Morgan Truck Body, part of the J.B. Poindexter & Co. family, is hiring a Welder for 1st shift in Rydal, GA. You will operate welding equipment to fuse aluminum, steel, and galvanneal components that form our truck bodies, delivering durable, road-ready products.

We offer competitive pay ($24.00–$26.40 per hour) and a strong benefits package; safety and quality are core. The role requires passing a weld test, knowledge of blueprints, and at least 6 months welding experience or school training.

Qualifications

• Must pass weld test to demonstrate skill
• Proficient in welding mild steel and galvanneal
• Minimum of 6 months welding experience or welding school training
• Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
• Basic experience with hand tools to support welding tasks
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Blueprint interpretation to weld metals with precision
• Operate heavy equipment like saws to prepare materials
• Machine setup and preventative maintenance for smooth production
