Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to join our North America field team in Richland, MS.

You will service residential and small- to mid-size commercial HVAC systems, perform startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-market service with a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction. We provide STA-certified training, tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle, with travel up to 10% to support branch customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of practical working experience on commercial or residential and/or ducted products, air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHU’s or Roof Top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair centrifugal, air cooled chillers and associated drives.
• Travel maybe required 10% to support Branch Customers startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service trouble shooting.
• You will enroll in training programs and JCI’s STA to gain knowledge in HVAC products and sales quoting.
• Applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
• As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of commissioning and aftermarket service.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
