Job summary

South Louisiana Community College seeks a dedicated TRIO Programs staff member to support participant success and program operations. You will develop and maintain a comprehensive community partner database, manage student files, and ensure compliance reporting across monthly to annual cycles.

You will coordinate outreach activities, provide advising and mentoring, and collaborate with colleges and community partners to recruit and engage eligible TRIO participants, while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn various case management software.
• Strong verbal and written communication and public speaking skills.
• Experience with project management and community partnerships.
• Active, unencumbered driver’s license.
• Ability to meet and exceed goals and objectives.
• Experience in academic support services or counseling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops a comprehensive database of community partners to support the target population.
• Maintains an electronic database of student files.
• Submits monthly, quarterly, semester, and annual compliance and performance reports.
• Coordinates and supports outreach, recruitment, educational, cultural, and enrichment activities.
• Provides advising, mentoring, referrals, and support services to participants.
• Maintains program records in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Collaborates with educational institutions and community organizations to recruit and engage TRIO participants.
