Job summary

The University of Alaska TRIO Programs seeks a Site Coordinator to oversee the TS project across Alaska. You will coordinate services, train staff, and ensure success while guiding students toward graduation and college pathways. Strong communication with schools, Tribal partners, and staff is essential.

Travel to multiple school locations, manage deadlines, and use databases/Zoom for progress tracking and support planning. This role offers a full benefits package and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with four years of relevant experience in educational support programs.
• Master's degree preferred, experience with TRIO programs a plus.
• Valid Alaska driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate TRIO Alaska Talent Search services in assigned target area.
• Train and supervise hired/contract staff and monitor their performance.
• Ensure program services meet federal TRIO guidelines and 34 CFR Part 643.
• Guide students toward high school graduation and postsecondary success.
• Deliver presentations, outreach, and relationship-building with schools and partners.
• Track student progress using databases and district platforms; conduct virtual sessions via Zoom.
• Manage event logistics, deadlines, and operate in fast-paced school-site environments.
• Train others on best practices and provide direct support to students in-person and virtually.
