Job summary

Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) seeks a TRIO ETS Program Manager to oversee programming and provide direct student advisement to eligible participants at partner schools. You will lead program operations, staff training, and outreach to meet federal goals and campus objectives.

The role requires coordinating activities across multiple sites, including evenings and weekends, with a focus on achievement for first-generation, low-income, and disabled students within Utah’s TRIO network.

Qualifications

• Case management to advise first-generation, low-income, and students with disabilities.
• Advising theory, learning strategies, and career exploration.
• Higher education processes including enrollment, financial aid, and policy familiarity.
• Experience with federal TRIO program or grant reporting preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends at multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily TRIO ETS program operations in alignment with federal grant regulations and institutional policies.
• Supervise part-time staff and coordinate training.
• Lead outreach, recruitment, and retention strategies.
• Ensure program compliance and performance indicators are met or exceeded.
• Collect and report program data for federal performance reports and evaluations.
• Represent TRIO ETS on SLCC committees and partnerships.
• Promote the program through presentations and collaborations with schools and districts.
