The University of Alaska invites applications for a Site Coordinator in the TRIO Alaska Talent Search program based at Mat-Su College in Palmer. The role coordinates services across schools, trains staff and partners, supports students toward graduation and college readiness, and uses databases and Zoom to track progress and deliver engaging support.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Education or related field with four years of relevant experience; a Master’s is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, Higher Education Administration, or related field and four years of progressively responsible experience in educational support programs serving special populations.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate program services across sites and manage/train staff.
• Travel to different school locations to train staff and provide support.
• Guide students toward high school graduation and postsecondary success using college admissions, CTE pathways, and financial aid information.
• Utilize databases, district platforms, and Zoom to track progress and plan support strategies.
• Deliver direct, engaging support to students in person and virtually across Alaska.
