Responsibilities

• Learn how to maintain sharp tools for accurate task execution.
• Make precision cuts to carcass and separate meat from bone.
• Operate a powered tool to perform job tasks.
• Complete training typically within 2–3 months.
• Adhere to safety practices, food safety policies, and company rules.
• Set up area with required equipment before production.
• Monitor production area for trash and debris on the floor.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by leads or supervisors.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Complete work cycles in under 20 seconds.
• Work around machinery and chemicals as required.
• Clean area at end of shift: wipe, sweep, and spray as needed.
• Complete cycles on concrete floor for up to 12 hours daily.
• Work in temperatures at or below 35°F for at least 8 hours.
• Work in a wet environment and perform cycles in under 10 seconds.
• Must have 6 months of continuous employment in last 18 months.
• Preferred: 6 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture or production experience.

• Responsible for learning how to maintain sharp tools to perform their job task correctly.


• Responsible for making precision cuts to carcass and separate meat from bone to achieve desired carcass yield.


• Responsible for operating a powered tool to perform job task.


• Average training time may require 2-3 months.


• Must also adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.


• Responsible for setting up area with all needed equipment.


• Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor.


• Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.


• May occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50lbs.


• Must be willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds.


• Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.


• Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.


• Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods up to 12 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.


• Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.


• Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment.


• Must be willing and able to complete cycles in less than 10 seconds.


• Must have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months.


• Preferred candidates will have at least 6 MThs of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture or production experience.
