Tyson Foods in Wisconsin seeks a dependable entry-level worker to cover, sanitize, clean, and prep equipment across departments.

You will handle cleaning of motors, electrical plugs, lights, pipes, and refrigeration units, using pressure hoses and scouring pads, while following safety, GMP and SQF guidelines. The role requires ability to perform basic math, paperwork and SAP functions, and willingness to work 3rd shift and overtime as needed.

Position Summary:

• Cover motors, electrical plugs, and all computer equipment.
• Clean up excess waste on the floors.
• Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment.
• Scour all equipment with scouring pad and/or chemicals.
• Sanitize equipment and areas with disinfectant and oil when finished.
• Cleaning of lights, pipes, walls, refrigeration units, and any other items.
• Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and record data.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
• Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
• Perform any other work as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions.
• Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry 20 pounds or greater with back and legs.
• Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently.
• Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously.
• Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.
• Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend up to 10 hours.
• Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.

Preferred Skills:

• Machine Operator experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• RF Scanner experience preferred
