Job summary

Alexander Wang is seeking an Assistant, Hardware & Trim to provide operational support for trim development and inventory systems. You will collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production, and Atelier teams to keep trim development on schedule and maintain accurate records.

You will manage workflow from concept to pre-production, coordinate sourcing, maintain records in RLM, and ensure the trim library is organized and accessible.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in trim sourcing, hardware, or PD/production support.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Proficient in PLM systems (RLM preferred) or similar.
• Strong understanding of materials and trim applications.
• Advanced Excel; CAD knowledge a plus.
• Excellent communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage trim development and sampling workflow from concept to pre-production.
• Issue purchase orders, track shipments, and maintain real-time status.
• Coordinate sourcing with local and overseas suppliers.
• Maintain trim records, codes, and inventory system entries.
• Organize physical and digital trim library for teams.
• Coordinate testing and approval workflows; organize samples.
• Support production transitions and manage payments and shipping.
• Drive continuous improvement of trim systems and processes.
