Job summary

Baker Tilly is expanding its Advisory practice and seeks a Manager to deliver accounting services and grants management for Tribal government clients. You will provide monthly close, financial reporting, and grant management while working with a collaborative team.

This role requires a strong accounting background, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in government accounting software. Travel to client sites (~10–15%) is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience, government or nonprofit preferred.
• Experience with grants management and government accounting standards helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performs accounting, grants management, and monthly close for tribal governments.
• Prepares client deliverables and ensures timely reporting.
• Develops policies and procedures on key accounting matters.
• Collaborates with clients to define new processes and improvements.
• Supports audit coordination and client travel as needed.
