Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; emphasis in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, not-for-profit/governmental preferred.
• Experience in grants management, financial accounting, and audit readiness is valued.

Responsibilities

• Performs operational, accounting, and consulting services for Tribal governments, including monthly closing and financial reporting.
• Manages grants reporting and ensures timely client deliverables.
• Develops policies and procedures on key accounting matters.
• Collaborates with clients to improve processes and define new policies.
• Initiates project start-up activities and attends kickoff meetings.
• Coordinates with clients during the audit process and prepares for audits.
• Supports practice growth and quality review of work.
• Acts as a key team member within Business Consulting Services.
• Occasionally travels to client locations, trainings, or conferences.
