Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs operational, accounting, and consulting services for Tribal governments, including monthly closing, grants management, grant reporting, and financial reporting to key decision makers.
• Prepares polished deliverables for clients; ensures timely client deliverables.
• Develops policies and procedures on key accounting matters.
• Works collaboratively with clients to understand current business practices, identify opportunities for improvement, assist in defining new processes, and developing updated policies and procedures.
• Performs project start up activities, such as following project work plans, adhering to schedules, and attending kickoff meetings.
• Coordinates with clients during the audit process, including helping clients prepare for audits.
• Assists with helping grow the practice; reviews the work of self and team for accuracy.
