Baker Tilly US is seeking a Manager to serve Tribal government clients, delivering ongoing accounting services and grant management.

You will perform monthly closings, grants reporting, and financial reporting to key decision makers while developing policies and collaborating with clients to improve processes. Travel approximately 10–15% may be required. Strong communication and leadership skills are required to mentor junior staff and coordinate across teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• At least 5 years of related experience, nonprofit/government preferred.
• Experience with grants management and government accounting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Performs monthly closing, grants management, grant reporting, and financial reporting for clients.
• Prepares polished deliverables and ensures timely completion.
• Develops policies and procedures on key accounting matters.
• Collaborates with clients to improve processes and update policies.
• Initiates project start-up activities and attends kickoff meetings.
• Coordinates with clients during audits and helps prepare for audits.
• Assists with growing the practice.
• Reviews work for accuracy and contributes to the team.
• Occasionally travels to client locations, trainings, or conferences.
