Job summary

You will collaborate across teams to improve processes, assist in policy development, and support audits. Travel is expected up to 10–15% as needed to serve clients in this dynamic sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required; emphasis in Accounting preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in nonprofit/government settings.
• Experience in grants management or governmental accounting is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel 10-15%.

Responsibilities

• Provides accounting and consulting services for Tribal governments, including monthly closings and financial reporting.
• Manages grants and prepares grant reports.
• Collaborates with clients to improve processes and policies.
• Coordinates with clients during audits and supports audit readiness.
• Supports growth of the practice and reviews team work for accuracy.
• Travels to client sites and training events as needed.
